About this Presentation
Although we hire mechanics to inspect and maintain our aircraft and engines, it is ultimately the owner’s responsibility to ensure the engine remains airworthy. This presentation will discuss, from the viewpoint of both the airplane owner who directs inspection and maintenance and the maintainer who performs most of the work, the necessary maintenance and inspections recommended by Continental for continued airworthiness of your engine and to reach TBO. Specifically we’ll review:

  • Continental’s current maintenance instructions
  • Oil change requirements
  • Cylinder compression and borescope inspection
  • Engine operation

Viewers will be able to type in their questions to be answered during the event. We’ll explain how to do so at the beginning of the webinar.

Although this American Bonanza Society program is oriented toward pilots of Beech Bonanzas, Debonairs, Barons and Travel Airs, the discussion, techniques and procedures described are valuable to the pilot and owner of any airplane.
