About this Presentation
How often do engine-related accidents actually occur? What causes real-world engine failure? This presentation looks at a decade’s worth of NTSB data for Beech Bonanzas and Debonairs to reveal why the engine quit…and what we can do about it. In this webinar you’ll learn:

-The actual number of engine failure accidents in Beech Bonanzas and Debonairs, and the rate per hours flown
-The severity of most engine failure mishaps, in terms of injury and airplane damage
-The primary cause of engine failure accidents
-Why many engine failures are not reported
-Techniques to avoid engine failure events
-Engine failure emergency procedures
-Answers to viewer questions

Viewers will be able to type in their questions to be answered during the event. We’ll explain how to do so at the beginning of the webinar. This program is recognized for ABS AVIATOR and FAA WINGS credit.

Although this American Bonanza Society program is oriented toward pilots of Beech Bonanzas, Debonairs, the discussion, techniques and procedures described are valuable to the pilot of any airplane.
