The ABS Air Safety Foundation Beechcraft Maintenance Evaluation - BME (formerly known as "Service Clinic") is a comprehensive, highly structured visual evaluation of the airplane. The BME is, in effect, a "second opinion" conducted by recognized Beechcraft experts.
Additionally, an evaluator from Continental Aerospace Technologies will perform borescope, compression checks, and a visual check of engine compartment(s). This is done at no additional cost to the ABS Member.
Beechcraft Maintenance Evaluations are scheduled for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in 1 hour, 30 minutes increments.
Price is $475 regardless of model.
The Beechcraft Maintenance Evaluator will review unmodified parts of the airframe. The engine compartment(s) of turbine-modified airplanes will not be evaluated. Owners should note that the modification and additional power of turbine conversions may create stresses and potential issues for those airframes that our evaluators are not aware of and may not detect. The ABS evaluator has the final say on whether a specific turbine-conversion airplane will be accepted for evaluation.
After your appointment is completed, you will leave with a comprehensive review of your aircraft, which includes images captured by the Evaluator to help you/your mechanic better understand potential squawks. You will also receive a complete engine health report from Continental Aerospace Technologies. Beechcraft Maintenance Evaluations are just one of the many Member Benefits provided by ABS. Cancellation/refund policy:
All cancellation notices must be received in writing to [email protected].
Cancellations made:
- 15 days or more in advance of the BME appointment date will receive a refund minus a $50 processing fee.
- 14 days or less is considered a late cancellation and is non-refundable, refunds may be requested but not guaranteed.
- No-show (appointment is missed without cancelling) non-refundable, no exceptions.
If you feel your late cancellation warrants a refund, you may submit the Refund Request form online, up to 30 days after the event. All requests will be responded to within 2 weeks of the submission online.
