About this Presentation
The Federal Air Regulations make aircraft owners—not their mechanics—primarily responsible for compliance with Airworthiness Directives. Understanding ADs and knowing how to make the required AD list are not covered in pilot training. This program will teach you:

  • What means to be an Airworthiness Directive
  • Who is responsible for AD compliance, and when
  • How to decode AD numbers
  • How to conduct an AD search and create an AD list

Viewers will be able to type in their questions to be answered during the event. We’ll explain how to do so at the beginning of the webinar.

Although this American Bonanza Society program is oriented toward pilots of Beech airplanes, the discussion, techniques and procedures described are valuable to the pilot of any airplane.
