A ONE-ON-ONE, HANDS-ON, EXPERT-LED ASSESSMENT OF YOUR AIRCRAFT
The ABS Air Safety Foundation’s Beechcraft® Maintenance Evaluation (BME)—formerly known as the “Service Clinic”—is a comprehensive, highly structured, tip-to-tail visual assessment of your airplane. It’s designed to give you an expert second opinion on the overall health of your Beechcraft, led by ABS Technical Advisors who are widely recognized for their Beechcraft-specific maintenance expertise.
A PERSONALIZED 1.5-HOUR WALKAROUND WITH A BEECHCRAFT® EXPERT
Each BME appointment is a dedicated, one-on-one session with an ABS Evaluator. Owners often bring their mechanic as well, making it an excellent opportunity to align on what’s been done, what needs attention, and what’s most important moving forward.
During your 90-minute hands-on evaluation, you and your Evaluator will walk the entire aircraft together—from nose to tail and wingtip to wingtip. You’ll examine:
- Airframe and structural condition
- Landing gear components and systems
- Engine compartment, including common wear points and emerging issues
The value of the BME lies in the expert eyes of our Evaluators. They see subtle details and trends that many mechanics may not, helping you identify concerns early and avoid costly surprises later.
COMPLIMENTARY ENGINE HEALTH CHECKS
As part of your appointment, the host FBO will perform borescope and compression checks at no additional cost to ABS members. These results are included in your evaluation and contribute to a more complete picture of your engine’s overall condition and performance.
A DETAILED DIGITAL REPORT—DELIVERED THE SAME DAY
Evaluators use specialized software to document discrepancies (“squawks”), recommendations, and observations. Where applicable, each item is paired with corresponding photos and notes to help you understand exactly what was found.
You’ll receive a digital, same-day report that includes:
- Detailed findings and explanations
- Photos, where applicable
- Borescope and compression results
This report is yours to keep and is especially helpful if you plan to follow up with your own mechanic for additional maintenance or repair.

Cancellations Due to Weather and Unforeseen Maintenance
We understand that unexpected events—such as adverse weather, aircraft maintenance issues, or mechanical delays—can sometimes interfere with your ability to attend your BME appointment. In these cases, the same cancellation and refund policy above applies.
